Wilda Lee (Glover) Baker went to be with the Lord November 1, 2007 after a long battle with leukemia. She was born October 15, 1929 in Northbranch, Kansas to Edgar and Verda (Dillon) Glover.Wilda attended 2 yrs. of college in Haviland, Kansas while corresponding with Orlan who was stationed in France. When he returned they were married on June 21, 1953. They lived in Burr Oak, Kansas where Wilda was a switchboard operator. Orlan then took a job in Medicine Lodge where Wilda worked in the meat department in Parkers IGA, the local newpaper office and later was an assistant in the District Court office before retiring in 1992. She and Orlan were always involved in camping clubs in Medicine Lodge and Pratt. They began spending summers on Grand Lake in Ok. and then winters in Tx, where they decided to stay full time. In 2006 they sold their RV and home in Medicine Lodge and bought a mobile home in Paradise Park in Pharr, Tx.
Wilda is preceded in death by her mother Verda, father Edgar and a niece Wanda Kay Glover.
Wilda is survived by her husband Orlan, a son Jay and his wife Kezia of Collinsville, Ok, their 3 sons Brandon of Norfolk, Va, Stephon of Denver, Co, and Nathaniel and wife Jenny of Norfolk, Va.. Their daughter Doris (Baker) Roland and husband Larry of Rogers, Ar, their two sons Gale and wife Kara of Rogers, Ar and Jeremy and wife Cheri of Caledonia, Mi., two great-granddaughters Kadey and Alexys Roland, a sister Estalene Ferguson of Hutchinson, Ks., a brother LaVae Glover of Northbranch, Ks along with many nieces and nephews that loved her and will miss her.
A memorial service will be held at Paradise Park November 24, 2007 and a family memorial will be held at a later date in Northbranch, Ks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Comfort House, 617 Dallas Ave. McAllen, Tx 78501.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan, Tx.
