Kendra Stein and Benjamin
Griffin were married May 4,
2002, at First Christian
Church in Junction City with
pastor Darrel Boston officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Kenneth and Hattie Stein of
Wright. The groom is the son
of Sam and Diane Griffin of
Burns and grandson of Paul
and Velma Scharenberg of
Cottonwood Falls.
Matron of honor was
Katrina Griffin. Best man was
Josh McHugh.
Bridesmaids were Alicia
Bergins, Nichole Stein and
Rhonda Simmons. Flower girl
was Megan Stein.
The bride's personal attendant was Donna Stein.
Groomsmen were Travis
Griffin and Justin Griffin, and
Jason Dewalt. Ring bearer was
Kassady Griffin.
Ushers were Scott Griffin
and Adam Koch.
Guestbook attendant was
Valerie Griffin. Program attendants were Kandace Griffin
and Bridget Lavine.
Musicians were pianist
Jamie Pittman and vocalist
David Conklin.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Elk's
Lodge in Junction City. A light
supper was served, and music
was provided by All-Star D.J.
of Manhattan.
The bride is a graduate of
Dodge City High School and
graduated from Kansas State
University in 1999. She is
employed as activities director
at Cedar Lake Village in
Olathe.
The groom is a graduate of
Chase County High School
and graduated from KSU in
2000. He is employed as an
engineer for Altec Industries
in St. Joseph, Mo.
Following a honeymoon on a
cruise ship in the Bahamas,
the couple resides in
Edwardsville.
