FERGUSON E. DWELLS
Ferguson E. Dwelle and his brother Cuyler,
came to Kansas from Rushville, N.Y., in March
1872 and located at Cedar Point. In 1873 they
bought the farm 2 miles south of Cedar Point, which
for 99 years has been in the Dwelle name, now the
home of D.J. Dwelle. Here they broke the virgin
soil and built a house.
It was on this farm that F.E. Dwelle and his
wife, the former Anna E. Williams reared a step-son
and their 4 children- Mr. Mr. Dwelle died Feb. 1922.
