Clarence Edwin DEATH OF CLARENCE ALBIN
Clarence Edwin Albin, second son of the late John B. and Nancy Albin, was born near Chilhowee, Missouri, September 26, 1891. He departed this life at St. Mary's hospital March 9, 1951 at the age of 59 years, 5 months and 11 days.
He came with his parents to Kansas in infancy and grew to manhood north of Saffordville in the East Buckeye neighborhood on a farm with his parents. He attended church and Sunday School at the Walnut Grove Friends church. This faith he retained throughout his life.
He was married to Christine Walthall on December 25, 1912. To this union eight children were born, three dying in infancy.
After the death of his wife on September 29, 1939 he moved to a farm near Emporia and the last few years he has been living with his brother Lloyd near Neosho Rapids.
On January 21, 1950 he was united in marriage to Julia Gulick. To This union one child was born, Lola Jane who with his wife survives. Others left to mourn their loss are the following children, Mrs. Fern Smith, Wayne Albin of Emporia, Helen Richardson of Topeka, Geneva Smith of Boyes Hot Springs, California and Alvin Junior Albin of Kansas City, Mo.; five brothers and two sisters, John Albin, Lloyd Albin and Flora Albin of Emporia, James Albin and Edna Albin of Emporia, James Albin of Woodston and Leland Albin of Parkerville. Eighteen grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends also survive.

FORMER RESIDENT OF SAFFORDVILLE VICINITY DIES Clarence Edwin Albin, who formerly resided north of Saffordville in the East Buckeye neighborhood, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital in Emporia, Friday morning, March 9, 1951 at the age of 59 years, 5 months and 11 days. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Roberts-Blue chapel. The Rev. Paul Carpenter, pastor of the second Presbyterian Church, conducted the services.
