Albin, George Edward
DEATH OF
GEORGE EDWARD ALBIN
George Albin died April 4 at his home in Ringling, Okla. He formerly lived 5 miles north of Saffordville on the old Isaac Albin farm.
He was born December 25, 1865, at Blue Earth City, Minn. He was the oldest of 10 children of Isaac and Ruth Albin. He married Miss Sarah E. Wade.
Mr. Albin moved to Oklahoma when the Territory strip was opened. He also has land in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and has spent many years there.
He is survived by his wife and 11 children. The children are: Mrs. Ruth Butler, Mrs. Tennie Hammons, Mrs. Reta Cates, James E. Albin, Sherman L. Albin, Mrs. Lillie Butler, Moses L. Albin, Mrs. Birdie Lawrence, Mrs. Thelma Aycox, Carl D. Albin and Spencer S. Albin.
He is also survived by 41 grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers and three sisters. The brothers are: J. B., of Emporia; Charles H., of LaHarpe; Tom R., of Fall River, and Fred S. Albin, of Toronto; the sisters are: Miss Sarah Albin, Mrs. Nora Wessinger and Mrs. Vora Fuller. Two brothers, James and William, preceded him in death.
