Alexander, Marjorie Dorilda

Marjorie Dorilda Alexander, 81, died Oct. 5, 2002 at Wichita.

Marjorie Dorilda, the daughter of Norman and Dorilda Green, was born Aug. 31, 1921, in Sweden. She was a homemaker.

Marjorie married Glen Alexander on Nov. 20, 1943, in Providence, R.I. She was a member of the Valley United Methodist Church and VFW Aux. Later in her life, she went back to high school and gradu- ated from Marion High School in 1970, with honors.

She is survived by her hus band; four sons, Gary of Hopkinsville, Ky., Bryan of Herington, Norman of Newton and Lance of Cedar Point; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Valley United Methodist Church, Marion with Pastor Kennedy Mukwindidza officiating. Burial will be in New Gottland C em tery, McPherson. Arrangements are by Zeiner Fune l Home of Marion. Memorials to the Valley United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society are suggested.
