Armagost, Frank E

Frank E. Armagost Succumbs Saturday; Funeral Services Are Held Tuesday Morning at the Local Catholic Church. Frank E Armagost, former Strong City resident, died here Saturday at the W. P. Rettiger home after an illness of years. Frank left Strong City eight years ago when he became sick with tuberculosis and suffered with that disease until his death.

Funeral services were held at St. Anthony's church in Strong City, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Edward J Albers being in charge. Pall bearers were Henry Wiebrecht, Leo Guice, William E Brown, Harold Fritz, Phillip Tolbert and Leo Nash. Burial was in St. Anthonys cemetery at Strong City.

Frank Edward Armagost, the son of Amos J. and Mary Ann Armagost; was born in Strong City Kans., May 26, 1908, and passed away at the W P Rettiger home in Strong City, March 28, 1936, at the age of 32 years, 10 months and 2 days: Frank attended the Strong City schools and later was employed in the Parker Bakeries. While there he became ill and went to Albuquerque, N M. in an effort to regain his health. Every effort was made by his family and himself to reach this end, but were unsuccessful.

A few weeks ago Frank expressed a desire to return to his home here and his brother-in-law, W. J. Nash, went to New Mexico and brought him home on March 18. Since then he has been confined to his bed, until his death which occurred Saturday morning. He was a patient sufferer during his long illness and one of the comforts of this time was the constant love and affection from his family.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Armagost; two sisters, Miss Amy Armagost of Newton and Mrs. Bertella Nash of Strong City, and one brother, John Armsgost of Cottonwood Falls, also by a number of aunts and uncles. He was preceeded in death by his father who died several years ago, apd his brother, Charles.

Wednesday, April 1, 1936 DEATH OF FRANK ARMAGOST

Frank Edward Armagost, the son of Amos J. and Mary Ann Armagost, was born in Strong City, Kansas, on May 26th, 1903, and passed away at the W. P, Rettiger home in Strong City on March 28th, 1936, at the age of 32 years, 10 months and 2 days.
