Death of Mrs Carl Bennett
The people of Diamond Springs and Hymer neighborhoods were saddened by the death of Mrs. Carl O. Bennett, which occurred on Christmas eve. Mrs. Bennet died after an illness of about six weeks and she leaves a little baby son of that age.
The funeral took place Wednesday noon. Dec 27th at Diamond Springs, Rev. Remlinger preached the sermon.
Before her marriage, Mrs. Bennett was Miss Hazel Elizabeth Snodgrass. She was born January 18th, 1888 eight miles south of Council Grove, in Morris county and was the oldest daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Marion Snodgrass. Nine years ago, she moved to Diamond creek together with her parents, where on Feb. 25th, 1908 she was married to Carl Bennett. She leaves a husband and three children beside's eight brothers and three sisters. She was a kind wife and a loving mother and all who knew her were her friends.
