Betts, Garnett Louise Ayers Stroud
Garnett Louise Betts, 92, died March 20, 2008.
She was the daughter of Dick and Almira Whaley Ayers. Garnett was an employee at Cessna.
She is survived by two sons, Jack D. and Margaret Stroud and Robert �Bud� Stroud both of Buna, Texas; a daughter, Beverly Jo and Brian Galentine, Cottonwood Falls; a step-daughter, Judy Martin, Newton; a step-son, Jack Betts, Winslow, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, Gena and Dan Kimberlin, Wichita, Rick Stroud, Edinburg, Texas, Mike and Jayne Mayes, Matfield Green, LeAnn and Vic Brumley, Ardmore, Okla., Daryn and Stacy Stroud, Haysville, Amy Stroud, Tulsa, Okla., Shannon Galentine, Cottonwood Falls, and Danielle Stroud, Port Arthur, Texas; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Meredith, Clearwater and Eugina Burdorf Cheney; and three brothers, Dick Calvin �Kelly� and Geraldine Ayers, Clearwater, George Robert �Bob� and Roberta Ayers, Wichita and William �Bill� and Mary Ann Ayers, Vancouver, Wash.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ernest L. Stroud and Ellis Betts; her parents; seven sisters, Daisy Hutchens, Marion Burns, Ethel Woods, Ila Ayers, Wilma Williams, Alpha Coppock, and Doris Ayers; three brothers, Charles Ayers, Zibina Louis Ayers and John Ayers; and a step-son, Jr. Betts.
A private family service will be at a later date. A memorial is designated to St. Jude�s Childrens
