Bledsoe, Elva M. Elva M. Bledsoe, 53, of Hillsdale, formerly of Cottonwood Falls, died March 31, 2002, at home.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. April 3, at the Wilson and Son Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Elva Bledsoe Scholarship Fund, instead of flowers in care of the funeral home.
Elva M. Edwards was born Aug. 9, 1948 to Curtis E and Muriel Gross Edwards in Fort Madison, Iowa. She attended Fort Madison Iowa High School.
On Jan. 21, 1974, she married John Bledsoe at Ralston, Neb. They made their home in Cottonwood Falls for 34 years before moving to Hillsdale in 1998.
Survivors are her husband, John, of the home; one daughter, Missie Crews of Belton, Texas; one son, Richard Lewis of Overland Park, two grandchildren, Sloan Crews and Jordan Lewis; and a half sister, Marlene Anderson of Muskateen, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
