Brewer, Mary A Neiman Mary A. Brewer, 86, of Madison died July 23, 2003, at Newman Regional Health.
Mary A. Neiman, the daughter of Reuben and Lillie Sage Neiman, was born March 16, 1917, in Quincy, where she grew up and attended school. She
married Eugene L. Brewer on April 24, 1936, in Cottonwood Falls. After their marriage, they lived in Emporia until their children were grown. They moved to Virgil, where he died in 1987. She then moved to Madison
She worked at Madison Manor as a licensed vocational nurse and also was a homemaker.
The funeral service was July 26, 2003, in the Quincy Cemetery at Quincy. The Rev. Bob Robison co9nducted the service.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by a son, Ronald Brewer of Virgil; a daughter, Myrna Brothers of Alvin, Texas; one sister, Agnus Hunt of Madison; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceeding her in deather were: a son, Larry Brewer; a daughter, Jeanne Miller; two brothers, Murray Neiman and Howard Neiman; five sisters, Lillian Neiman, Rachel Neiman and Ruby Neiman, Edith Conn and Bessie Thornton; and one grandson, Jay Cioni.
