Bullock, Marguerite "Hope"
Marguerite "Hope" Bullock,
82, of Strong City, died March
13, 2003, at the Chase County
Health & Rehabilitation
Center in Cottonwood Falls.
Marguerite Trussell was
born Dec. 13, 1920, in Strong
City to Gilbert H. and Mabel
Payne Trussell. She graduated
from Strong City High School
in 1938. She married Glenn J.
Bullock on June 13, 1942. He
preceded her in death in 1970.
Mrs. Bullock worked as a
clerk for Sampson Grocery in
Strong City and later worked
for the IGA in Cottonwood
Falls. She also worked for
Slabaugh Liquor Store in
Strong City for many years.
Survivors include a son,
Glen Steven Bullock; a daugh
ter, Deborah Moe both of
Kelso, Wash.; three brothers,
Harold and Robert Trussell of
Cottonwood Falls and Gilbert
Trussell of Newton; four grand
daughters; and six great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by a sister, Thelma Petersen.
Funeral services were
March 15, 2003, at the Brown-
Bennett-Alexander Funeral
Home with Rev. John Hastings
officiating. Interment was in
Strong City Cemetery.
