Bumgardner, George George Bumgardner passes At Emporia
George Bumgardner of Cottonwood Falls died at4:30 o'clock, Wednesday morning in the Newman Memorial Hospital at Emporia after a short sickiness. He became sick Thursday of last week and was critically sick until his death. He was 40 years old. Funeral arrangements had not been made Wednesday morning when the News went to press.
Mr. Bumgardner has been a resident of Cottonwood Falls about14 years, and has engaged in the blacksmithing business during that time. Heis survived by his wife and four children, Glen, Jean, Bonnie, and Pearl Nadine, his mother, Mrs G. L. Bumgardner, all of Cottonwood Falls, and byseven brothers and sisters who are as follows: Dean Bumgardner, Ted Bumgardner, and Mrs W E Miller, Cottonwood Falls; Allen Bumgardner, Florence; Mrs Edward E Cole, WestNew York, N. J.; Mrs James G. Bell, Clovis, N.M.; and Mrs. Louie Mullen, San Francisco, Calif.
