Childers, Ella Cozadd
MRS. W. T. CHILDERS DEAD
Mrs. W. T. Childers, of Strong City died, Thursday May 23 at the home of her daughter Mrs. F. 0. Hager of Topeka, Kansas.
She had been in ill health since suffering a stroke of paralysis three years ago, but had
been able with the aid of her husband to take care of their home until two weeks ago when she left for Topeka with Mrs. Hager.
Ella Cozadd was born March 13, 1864 at Lewiston, Ill. and died May 23 1929 at Topeka, Kansas, being at the time of her death 65 yrs. 2 mo. and 10 days of age.
She was married to W. T. Childers March 22, 1882 and they came to Kansas the following September. To them were born four children, Frank Childers, of Emporia; Elza Childers, of Corpus Crista, Texas; Mrs. F. 0. Hager and Willard Childers, both of Topeka, Kansas.
Surviving her besides her husband and children, are two brothers, one sister, twelve grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.
Mrs. Childers united with the Church of Christ when but a young woman and remained a faithful member through life.
The death of this loving mother and kind companion removes a sweet Christian character from a large circle of friends and casts a gloom over all who knew her, the heartfelt sympathy of relatives and friends is extended to the bereaved ones.
