Cooper, John

JOHN COOPER

Mr. John Cooper died at Clements, Kansan Wednesday, March 22, 1922 at the age of 83, having been born in Madison county, Kentucky, March 8, 1839. Mr. Cooper was a veteran of the Civil war being a member of Company C., 23rd. Missouri Infantry.

He was united in marriage with Miss Alice M. Noell June 26, 1874. To this union were born four children, three sons and one daughter, The daughter, Mrs. Henry Parsons died in August, 1921.

Those left to mourn his death are his wife, Mrs. John Cooper and his sons, T. S. Cooper of Denver; J. E. Cooper of Wellington, Kansas, and Mr. H. N. Cooper of Ridgefield, lll., the latter of whom was unable to be at the funeral on account of the illness of his wife.

Mr. Cooper was a member of the Christian church, having united with that church early in life.
