Counseller, Harvey Lee Harvey Lee Counseller Jr., 78 of Lowell, Ark. died Jan. 14,2002, at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville.
Harvey Lee Counseller was born Oct. 10, 1923, in Spivey to Harvey and Ocea Brown Counseller. He moved to Lowell from Nevada, Mo. in 1972. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the US Army and was a member or the VFW in Newton. He was a former resident of Strong City.
He is survived by two sons, Bob Counseller, Greenville, Miss. and Larry Counseller, Lowell, Ark.; two stepsons, Ron Brigman, Aberdeen, Wash. and Frank Atkins, Gateway, Ark.; one daughter Kemberly Hulsey, Lowell, Ark.; three stepdaughters, Judy Baird, Lowell, Ark., Betty Klassen, Enid, Okla. and Patty Waldrop, Rogers, Ark.; Three sisters, Nora Giger, Cottonwood Falls, Aletta Hubble, Hutchison, and Lillie Milliron, Tribune; a granddaughter, Chasity Bridges of the home, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one stepson, Jerry Atkins. Graveside service and burial were Jan. 16, 2002, at the VA National Cemetery in Fayetteville with Pastor Gary Thomas officiating. Military honors by the Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard.
