Crouch, Emma
Mrs. Emma Crouch, life long resident of this county, is dead.
Mrs. Crouch was born Jan. 11th, 1879, at Matfield Green. Her death occurred Sunday morning, Dec. 13th., following a long illness. The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 o�clock at Matfield Green after which interment will be made there.
Mrs. Crouch is survived by her husband, Wm. Crouch, and four brothers, George Mercer, of Matfield Green, Dave Mercer of Emporia, and John and William Mercer of Wichita.
Mrs. Crouch death was due to diabetes. She had undergone an operation at the Newman Memorial hospital at Emporia several weeks ago for the amputation of one foot. She was brought to her home in this city a little over a week ago when her physicians pronounced her case as hopeless.

Mrs. Emma Crouch died Sunday morning, December 13 at her home in Cottonwood Falls, following a long illness from diabetes. Several weeks ago she underwent an operation at the Newman hospital at Emporia for the amputation of one foot.
Mrs. Crouch is survived by her husband William Crouch and four brothers George Mercer of Matfield Green, John and William Mercer of Wichita, and Dave Mercer of Emporia. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Matfield Green and interment in the Matfield Green cemetery.
