Cunningham, Mary Cathryn Withrow
MRS. A. S. CUNNINGHAM DEAD
Mary Cathryn Withrow was born at Pierceville, Ind., Aug. 28th, 1847, and died at Muskogee, Okla., July 24th, 1922.
She was married to Leroy Ciark, Sept. 27th, 1865, and to them were born 3 childrrn. Mr. Clark died Nov.
18tb, 1873.
In 1879 she came to Kansas, locating at Elk.
Oct. l0th, 1880 she was married to Alex S. Cunninghan. and to them was born one daughter. They commenced their life together at EImdale, Kansas, and that was her home from then on until her death.
For the past two year, she had been in poor health and spent most of her time with her children.
She was with her daughtef, Mrs. C. J.
Schneider, when she passed away.
She united with the Methodist church when very young and remained a faithful member through her entire life.
Besides her chl!dren, Mrs. C. J. Schneider, Mrs. H. McDowall and Mrs, E. H. Sledd, she leaves one brother,
D. H. Withraw, of Denver, Colo.; a number cf grand children, six great grandchildren, several neices and nephews and a host of friends to mourn their loss.
We believe we can truthfully say she was one of the best woman living. She was devoted to her family, and a good, kind neighbor and those who knew and loved her, feel a great loss.
We desire to thank the neighbors and friends for the sympathy shown us in the loss of our beloved mother, Mrs. A. S. Cunningham, and for the beautiful floral offerings. -- Her Children and Their Families,
