Brandon Ray Evans

Brandon Ray Evans, 32, died of cancer April 27, 2005, at his parent's home in Lowell. He was born Dec. 4, 1972, in Arkansas City, the son of Dallas Merle and Reta Fay Schuck Evans. He lived in Haviland, Chase County, Syracuse and Greensburg since 2001.

He was a 1991 graduate of Chase County High School and of Tabor College. He was a high school science teacher and high school football coach. He was a member of the Friends Church and the Greensburg Education Association.

Brandon is survived by his parents; one grandfather, Raymond Roger Evans of Lowell; one brother, Douglas Evans, Shakopee, Minn.; one sister, Julie Bais, Derby; five nephews; and three nieces.

Services were held Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 1 p.m. at the Greensburg High School Football field, the Rev. Jeffrey Blackburn officiated. Burial followed at the Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. Memorials are suggested to the Greensburg High School Science Department, in care of Fleener Funeral Home, P.O.
