Finn, Nancy C Amerine

Strong City native Nancy C. Amerine Finn, 68, of Leavenworth died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004.

Ms. Finn was a secretary for the Dwight - D. Eisenhower Veteran Affairs Medical Center for 1R years before she retired in 1998.

The daughter of Hillman and Naomi McCurry Amerine, she was born Sept. 30, 1936, in Strong City. She was a former member of the Strong City Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah L. Bietka of Lansing; a son, Art Delisle of Bellingham, Wash.; a sister, Judi Deering of Caney; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. A son, Mark Nash, died earlier.

The funeral was Oct. 8, 2004, in Charter Funerals- Sunset Memory Chapel at Leavenworth. Burial was in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Deborah L. Bietka fund and sent in care of Charter Funerals, 1673 Springdale Road, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
