Garth, T. E. Mrs.

Mrs. T. E. Garth, a resident of this county for almost thirtyeight years, died at her home in Saffordville Thursday morning from pneumonia The funeral will be held this afternoon at the Garth home after which burial will be made in the Saffordville cemetery.

Mrs. Garth was seventyeight years of age. She was born and married in Norway and with her husband came to America about forty years ago Mrs. Garth leaves an aged husband who is now critically ill with pneumonia and whose recovery is doubtful. She is also survived by four children, Chris and B. .M Garth, of Saffordville; Mrs. Chas. Filson, of Emporia; and Ed. Garth of Long Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Garth celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary only a few months ago, and there is no family in Chase county more widely known or highly respected than they.
