Glover, Retha May Fillmore Retha May Glover, 85, of Emporia, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at the University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kan.
Retha May Fillmore, the daughter of Eugene and Louysa Estep Fillmore, was born July 17, 1921, at Emporia. She married Dallas Glover at Emporia on May 23, 1945. He died Oct. 4, 1984.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Americus Southern Baptist Church, Americus.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald Glover,
Emporia, Wesley Glover, Denver, Colo. and Kenneth Glover, Gunnison, Colo.; two daughters, Lynda Glover, Montrose, Colo. and Wanda Green, Canyon, Texas; two step-sons, Dean Glover, Council Grove and Kyle Glover, Lakeside, Calif.; a brother, Billy Fillmore, Hartman, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-greatgrandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Millard Fillmore and Dale Fillmore; and a sister, Ellen Knapp.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 6, at the Americus Southern Baptist Church in Americus. The service was conducted by Dr. Terry Mcllvain former interim pastor. Interment was at Americus Cemetery, Americus.
