Graham, Blanche Whitcraft Blanche Graham died Wednesday, October 23, at the Regency Health Center in
Florence. She had been a resident of the Clements community for 56 years
and was a homemaker.
The funeral service was held Saturday norming at 10 a.m. at the Florence
Christian Church in Florence, to which Mrs. Graham belonged. The service
was conducted by Rev. Lester Owens. Music was ministered by Maxine
Robertson, organist, and Mrs. Harold Huntley, soloist. Escorts were Jim
Farley, Walter Ireland, John Shaw, Bunk Ludwig, Harry Koslowsky and Carl J.
Dawson. Burial was in Clements Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church and may be sent to Croy
Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls, which was in charge of arrangements.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Whitcraft, Blanche Whitcraft was
born at Bancroft on April 10, 1900. She and Lee Graham were married at
Wamego on May 20, 1923. Mr. Graham died August 7, 1979.
Mrs. Graham is survived by a son, Jack L. Graham, of Newton; a grandson,
Gil Graham of Boston, Mass, and a sister, Beatrice Martin of Osborn.
Mrs. Graham was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter at
Newton.
Out-of-town relatives attending the services were Jack Graham, Newton; Mr.
and Mrs. Neil Graham, Cottonwood Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Graham,
Florence; Mr. and Mrs. Bus Brown, Council Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Chet Hatcher,
Florence; Mr. and Mrs. James Martin, Hutchinson.
