Graham, Mary A Ramsey
Mary A. Graham, 86, of Cottonwood Falls died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Newman Regional Health.
Mary A. Ramsey, the daughter of Albert and Lida Jane Hamilton Ramsey, was born Dec. 17, 1919, at Hymer. She married James Graham on Jan. 3, 1940, at Cottonwood Falls. He died Jan. 22, 2001.
Mrs. Graham was a homemaker and also did housekeeping, washing and ironing for others.
She is survived by four daughters, Cecile Potter of Emporia, Mary Jane Tyler of Council Grove, Karen Nurnberg of Saffordville and Billie Jo Potter of Sublette; one son, Jimmy Lee Graham of Yates Center; one sister, Hazel Collins of Strong City; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Marjorie Graham and Ruby Ann Graham; three brothers; two sisters; and one grandson, Chad
Nurnberg.
Services were Wednesday, May 24, in the Brown-Bennett-Alexander
Funeral Home at Cottonwood Falls. Susan Alexander conducted the service. Mrs. Graham was cremated. The private
inurnment was in
Grandview Cemetery.
