Hallam, Jeff L Jeff L. Hallam, 70, died Friday, April 14, 2006, at his home in Herington.
He was born on Feb. 6, 1936, at Cottonwood
Falls.
Mr. Hallam
retired from
American Family Insurance in 2003. He was a Herington High School foreign languages teacher until the 1970's. He received his Master's Degree in Languages from
the University of Kansas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club and a member of Herington Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Alisa Lehnherr of Park City; a son Jeremy Hallam of Edmond, Kan.; and a grandson, Grant Austin Lehnherr.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 20, at the First Baptist Church, Herington, with Rev. Darrell Geist officiating. Burial followed with military honors at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
