Hampel, Helen Marie Stubenhofer

Helen Marie Hampel, 87, Strong City Native: Kingman, Kansas: Helen Marie Hampel, 87, died September 17, 1991 at Kingman Community Hospital. She was born August 1, 1904, at Strong City the daughter of Ben(should be Dan) and Josephine Stubenhofer Foxworthy. She was a housekeeper for St. Patrick Catholic Church Rectory, Kingman.

On April 11, 1959, she married Fred W Hampel at Kingman. He died June 25, 1975. survivors include: five stepsons, Al and Paul, both of Wichita; John, Kingman; Norbert, Garden Plain; Martin, Pretty Prairie; six step-daughters, Florence Kelsey, Berenice Bergkamp and Ernestine Hon, all of Wichita; Martha Kerschen, Garden Plain; Ruth Heithaus, Hot Springs, Arkansas; Jerry Ziegler, Dodge City; 39 step-grandchildren; 70 step-great-grandchildren.
