Hawkins, Frank L
Frank L. Hawkins of Bradenton, Florida, died Monday, Feb. 5, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton. He was 80 years old.
Frank was born in Clements. His parents were Claude and Celia Hawkins, well-known residents there. He graduated from Kansas State University as a chemical engineer. He served in World War II and retired a Lieutenant Colonel. He was Past Master of Mt. Ararat Lodge 44 and Past Patron of Eastern Star. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He leaves his wife, Sarah, of the home; a son, Verl, of Georgia; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His service was held at Teale Brothers South Chapel. Cremation followed.
