Hazel, Celia F Bonewell

Monday morning the friends of Mrs. Hazel were shocked by the news that she was suffering from an acute attack of asthma, later in the afternoon news came that she was dead. Mrs Hazel had been suffering all day Sunday with difficult breathing, and Monday morning it was deemed necessary to call in a physician who administrated a hypodermic injection of morphine. She became suddenly unconscious and other physicians were hurriedly summoned but medical skill could do nothing for her and she died at 5 o'clock.

Mrs. Hazel arrived last week from Kansas City accompanied by her husband and little daughter. Mr. Hazel after a brief visit, went onto Arkansas City to make arrangements to secure land in the strip. Mrs. Hazel remained in the city to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bonewell.

Mr. Hazel was notified but did not learn of her death till he arrived Tuesday. She leaves a grief stricken husband and her little child to wonder at the mysterious wisdom of the All Wise Providence that robbed them of a loving and devoted wife and mother. The funeral took place Wednesday at 2:30.

A coroners jury was summoned, and after a full hearing decided that she came to death from cause unknown to the jury. The attending physician was not censured.
