Holdeman, Reuben K
Reuben Kane Holdeman died May 6, 2008, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph K. and Doris Holdeman.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kayellen; and their children, Kimi and Jed Day, Donna and Bob Zandt,
Stephen Grivois, Ronald Grivois, Tamara Grivois, Lisa Grivois and Kevin Grivois, all of Wichita; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and three brothers, Forrest Holdeman of Lansing, Richard Holdeman of Ochelata, Okla. and John Holdeman of Cornville, Ariz.
He was also preceded
in death by a sister, Penny Johnson.
His remains were buried in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cottonwood Falls on June 7, 2008, in a private ceremony. An Air Force Honor Guard performed a flag-folding tribute and presented the flag to his wife. They performed a rifle salute and played his final TAPS.
