Hudson, Harvey R HARVEY R. HUDSON DEAD
The funeral of Harvey R. Hudson who died at his home in Neosho Rapids, Kansas, was held at Clements yesterday.
The deceased was born in this county 47 years ago and resided here where he was engaged in farming until about the year 1910, when he and his family moved to Neosho Rapids.
He is survived by his wife and six children, also his mother, Mrs. Harriet Hudson, of Clements. He also leaves one brother, Glenn Hudson of California and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Hill of Omaha, Nebraska.
Funeral services were also held at the family home at Neosho Rapids before the body was brought to Clements Thursday.
Among those who attended the funeral at Clements yesterday were Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Sampson of Strong City, Mrs. Sampson is an aunt of Mrs. Hudson whose maiden name was Miss Mae Osman.

Notes: Harvey Hudson was born in May 1877, in Chase County, Kansas, and he died June 1924, in Neosho Rapids, Lyon Co., Kansas. He was the son of I. M. and Harriet Ellen (Patton) Hudson, and the grandson of early day settlers, John and Mary Ann (Ring) Patton, of Clements. He was first married to Cora Cuppy, in 1902, Cora died later that year. In about 1907, Harvey married Nellie Mae Osman, they had six children.
