Jones, Isaac Last Friday morning, the dead body of Mr. Isaac Jones, aged about 67 years, was found by his youngest son, Eddie, hanging in the wood shed, or smoke house, on his place on Bloody creek, when the Coroner was sent for, but being out of town, he did not begin the holding of the inquest until Saturday; but before arriving at a verdict the inquest was adjourned to the 25th instant, and the body was interred in the cemetery west of town, on Sunday.
We understand that on Friday morning Mr. Jones sent this son to Mr. C. Wilson's to tell Mr. Wilson he would soon pay him for the use of a horse Mr. Wilson had let him have; but before the boy left his father borrowed a lead pencil from him and gave him a five dollar bill, telling him if he was not at home when he got back to keep the money; and when the boy returned home he found his father, as above stated.
