Krueger, Delia Pearl White

The graveside service for Delia Pearl Krueger, 83, of Emporia was held on Dec. 3, 2002, in the Patio Garden of Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Slack conducted the service. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery.

Mrs. Krueger died Nov. 28, 2002, at Newman Regional Health. She was a carrier for The Emporia Gazette for six years before she retired in 1979. Previously, she was a cook at Blaylock's Restaurant for 17 years and the Emporia Country Club for five years.

Delia Pearl White, the daughter of Jesse Francis "Frank" and Eva Belle Rector White, was born Nov. 18, 1919, at Emporia. She married Frederick C. Krueger on Aug. 30, 1939, at Cottonwood Falls. He died in October 1977 at Emporia.

Mrs. Krueger was a mem- ber of the former Calvary United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Donald J. Krueger of Strong City, Richard L. Krueger of Arkansas City and John C. Krueger of Whitewright, Texas; one daughter, Patricia Ann O'Brien of Wichita; 12 grand children; and 17 great-grand- children. A son, two brothers and a grandson died earlier.
