Lloyd, Mary Wilson

Mary Wilson was born in Iowa, Dec 22 1863. She was the daughter of Wm J Wilson, of Toledo. Soon after her birth, her parents moved back to Ohio, where she spent her childhood and young womanhood.

When she was twelve yhears old her mother died, leaving her with the care of several younger brothers and sisters. At the age of eighteen she was converted and joined the Christian church.

n 1883 she came to Kansas with her father and the family and lived on the farm two and one-half miles northeast of Toledo until September 16 1886, when she was married to Mr. Chas H Lloyd, whom she had met while working at Barclay, Kansas.

After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Maryville, Tenn., where they lived for sometime. For the last few years she had lived in Atlanta, Ga.

In October 1908. she went to a hospital in Indianapolis, Ind., for treatment for cancer, which was caused fy a fall received when she was a girl. After staying there some 10 months, and getting no relief, her husband took her to Kellam's hospital at Richmond, Va. She remained there until her death on December 29 1909. The remains were taken home to Atlanta, where they were buried on Sunday, January 02, 1910.

She was preceded to the other shore by her mother, two brothers and a sister. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and son who live at Atlanta, also an aged father and stepmother, three brothers and a sister in Kansas and a brother in New York.

At the time of her death, she was 46 years and one week old.
