Maloney, John A John A. Maloney, 59, of Denver, Colorado passed away early Wednesday morning, August 8th, in the St. Joseph's Hospital. He had suffered a heart attack seven weeks ago. Funeral Services were held in that city, Friday, August 10, 1945, with burial in a Denver Cemetery.
He was a brother of Ed C. Maloney, who operated the Bank Hotel in Strong City for many years, and a nephew of Mrs. James B. McCabe and the late A. W. Ryan, both of Strong City.
Mr. Maloney lived in Kansas City, Missouri many years, where he was a buyer for Emery, Bird Thayer, but for the past twenty one years has lived in Denver, where he was a buyer for the Denver Dry Goods company.
Surviving are his wife, Georgia L. Maloney; a son, Staff Sgt. John E. Maloney, now stationed at Fort Logan following service overseas; two daughters, Mrs. William Hendrickson of Denver and Mrs. Howard Off of Hollywood, Calif.; a brother, Ed. C Maloney of Newton, Kansas, and a sister Mrs. Harry Chabin of Hutchinson, Kansas.
