Maloney, Joseph F
Rites Saturday For Joe Maloney
Funeral services for Joseph F.
Maloney, who died, last Wednesday in the Hollydale Convalescent
Home, Topeka, were held at 10 a.m.
Saturday in St. Anthony's Catholic
Church, Strong City, with the Rev.
Father William Cremin offering
the Mass. Servers were Mike Haug,
Steve Dieker and Anthony Ruiz,
and the lector was Gerald Dieker.
Pallbearers were Karl, Paul and
Howard Stubenhofer, Henry and
Harold Wiebrecht and William
Brown. Burial was in St. Anthony's
Cemetery. Arrangements were in
charge of the Brown-Bennett Funeral Home, Cottonwood Falls.
Mr. Maloney was born November 24, 1906, in Strong City a son
of the late Joseph J. and Elizabeth
Failey Maloney, and died July 19,
1967. He had lived the greater
part of his life in Strong City,
moving to Topeka three years ago
and had never married. Mr. Maloney was a member of St.
Anthony's Catholic Church.
Surviving him are one brother,
Edward Maloney, Strong City;
three sisters, Miss Frances Maloney, Topeka; Mrs. V. L. (Lillian)
Stocker, Cherokee; and Mrs. .T. J.
(Anna) Davis, Newton, several
nieces and nephews.

town were Miss Frances Maloney,
Mr. and Mrs. John Kass and Debra
Topeka; Mr. and Mrs Wendell L.
Jones Sr., Wichita; Mr. and Mrs.
T. J. Davis and Marilyn Davis.
