Maule, Clara

Mrs. Clara Maule Dies In Kansas City Former Resident of Strong City Buried Tuesday Afternoon In K. C. Cemetery.

Mrs. Clara Maule, a former resident of Strong City and well known to many people in Strong City and other parts of the county, died Sunday at her home in Kansas City, according to word received by relatives and friends here Sunday. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment was in a Kansas City cemetery.

Mrs. Maule, before her marriage was Clara Hoffman. She spent the early part of her life in Strong City and married Frank Maule 'here. Mr, Maule died 20 years ago in Washingotn state and the family returned to this county where they made their home for several years before moving to Kansas City.

Mrs. Maule is survived by three sons, Charles, Joe and Harold Maule, and by two half-brothers, Chris Hofmann of Emporia and Charles Hofmann of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. G. B. Howard of Cottonwood Falls is a sister-in-law. She attended the funeral of Mrs. Maule in Kansas City, Tuesday.
