McDaniel, Anna Nicholson MRS. H. A. MCDANIEL IS DEAD
Mrs. H. A. McDaniel died suddenly at her home a mile west of Wonsevu last Saturday morning about 3:00 o'clock. Mrs. McDaniel's death was due to apoplexy. Friday, she had complained some of pains in her neck but when she retired that evening she was resting easy.
The funeral services were held at Wonsevu at 2:00 o'clock. Monday afternoon, after which internment was made in the Wonsevu cemetery.
Mrs. McDaniel was 60 years of age and had lived in Chase county ever since she was a very small girl. Her maiden name was Anna Nicholson.
Besides her husband she leaves a son John McDaniel, of Kansas City and a step son, Frank McDaniel, of
Florence. She is also survived by six brothers and sisters who are, County Commissioner Dave Nicholson; Geo.
Nicholson, Samuel Nicholson and
Wm. Nicholson all of Wonsevu; Mrs.
Samuel Sidener, of Cedar Point. and
Mrs, Jasper Shanklin, also of Wonsevu. She was an aunt of County
Superintendent Mrs. Flora Burroughs
this city and leaves many other
relatives and a wide circle of friends
and neighbors.
The McDaniel family for many years lived in this city but have resided at Wonsevu during recent years.
