McGurrin, Eliza Grandma McGurrin, the mother of Mrs. C, I. Maule of Strong City, died at the latter's home last night. Mrs. McGurrin's home is in Grand Rapids, Michigan but she and her daughter, Miss Maggie, have been living with the Maule family in Strong City during the past year.
Mrs McGurrin was more than eighty years of age and had not been in good health for a long time.
The remains will be sent to Grand Rapids for burial and will leave Strong City tonight. Mrs. C. I. Maule and Miss Margaret McGurrin will accompany the body to Grand Rapids.

Mrs. Eliza McGurrin, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. I. Maule, in Strong City, Tuesday morning, was born in Dublin in Ireland in 1828. Together with her husband, she came to America fifty years age, locating in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mrs. McGurrin is the mother of eight children only two of whom are living--Mrs. C. I. Maule and Miss Maggie McGurrin.
About two and one-half years ago, Mrs. McGurrin and her daughter, Miss Maggie moved to Strong City and have since made their home with Mr. and
Mrs. C. I. Maule.
They have made
many friends in Strong City who will mourn Mrs. McGurrin's death and who extend to her two surviving daughters their heartfelt sympathies.,
The body of Mrs. McGurrin was sent to Grand Rapids Tuesday evening where her husband and several of their children are buried. Miss Maggie McGurrin accompanied the remains.
