Meierhoff, Mrs TWO DEATHS IN BUT SHORT TIME

Funeral Services for Mrs. William
Meierhoff Are To Be Held
Thursday Afternoon.
Mrs. William Meierhoff of Elmdale died suddenly Saturday afternoon at her home in the Elk neighborhood while her husband was helping their son and his wife, get started to Rice County where they had been called by the death of Mrs. Andrew Meierhoff's mother.
When William Meierhoff returned to the house he found his wife dead. She had not been well since an auto accident last summer but was well enough to do her work.
Mrs. Meierhoff was born October 6, 1871, in Ripley County, Indiana. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ed Sherffius of Bazaar, and one son, Andrew Meierhoff, who lived near the home place in the Elk neighborhood.
The funeral services for Mrs. Meierhoff will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, and interment will be in the Elk cemetery. Rev. Bergert, pastor of the Evangelical church at Marion, will conduct the services.
Mrs. Chris Knackstedt, mother of Mrs. Andrew Meierhoff, died Friday night at 12:30 o'clock, just about 12 hours before Mrs. William Meierholf's sudden death. Mrs. Knackstedt lived near Little River, in Rice County, She was buried Tuesday afternoon from the Presbyterian church at Little River. She is survived by her widowerer, one daughter, Mrs. Andrew Meierhoff and six sons.
