Miner, Julia A Smith
MRS. C. W. MINER DEAD
We were sorry to learn of the death of Mrs, C. W. Miner at the home of her daughter, Mrs, C. A. Bruce on Peyton creek. Mrs. Miser died Tuesday morning following an illness of several weeks.
Miss Julia A. Smith was born in Bellesville Ohio May 1, 1849. She was married to Mr, C, W. Miser September 4, 1873, to which union were, born four daughters--Mrs. T. B. Simms of Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. A. N. Sullivan of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. C. A, Bruce and Mrs. Joe Payne both of Strong City. She is survived my her husband, Mr. Miner, her four daughters, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Miner was 74 years, 5 months, and 22 days old. She joined the Methodist church at the age of 16 years and was a true Christian. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bruce home. Mrs, Miner was laid to rest by the side of her father and mother in the Prairie Grove cemetery.
