Montgomery, Agnes Janet
Funeral services for Miss Agnes Janet Montgomery, who died Wednesday in a Herington Hospital, will beheld Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o�clock at the Sutton Funeral home. Rev. Orlo Choguill, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.
Miss Montgomery was born September 13, 1895, in Cottonwood Falls. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Montgomery. Miss Montgomery came to Emporia in 1913. She was graduated from the Newman Memorial County hospital school for nurses in 1925. She had been a nurse in the Herington hospital for five years.
She is survived by three sisters, Miss Margaret Montgomery, of New York City; Mrs. Elizabeth Stewart, of Blackie, Canada, and Miss Katherine Montgomery of Emporia, and four brothers, John Montgomery, Drew Montgomery, and Harry Montgomery, all of Emporia, and James Montgomery, of Blackie, Canada.
