Mow, John

Old Timer Passes At Daughter's Home

John Mow is buried in Elk Cemetery After Services in Strong City.

One of the early residents of this county, John Mow, died Friday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Godfrey Kurth, in Cottonwood Falls, after an extended sickness. He was 79 years old. Funeral services, conducted by Rev, J. Jacob, were held Monday at the Lutheran church in Strong City. Interment was in the Elk cemetery.

Mr. Mow, a native of Germany, is survived by one son, Frank Mow of Herington, and by four daughters, Mrs. Kurth of Cottonwood Falls, Mrs. Joe Mauderly of Clements, Mrs. Chris Koegeboehn of Elmdale and Mrs. Louie Kaufmann of Rocky Glen.
