Mow, William F

Obituary

William F. Mow of Elk, died suddenly of heart disease at the home of his father, Mr. and Mrs. John Mow, Thursday, June 25. He had been in ill health for about two months.

He was born in Monnia, Wisconsin, July 4, 1879 and in October 1882 came with his parents to Chase county. In 1902 he went to Florence where he learned the trade of fireman, at which business he had worked ever since.
B The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Elk church and was conducted by Rev. Knepp of Elmdale and the body was laid to rest in the Elk cemetery beside that of his brother, who died three years ago.

Will Mow was an agreeable, accommodating, well liked man and had a host of friends who were shocked to learn of his death. His father, mother, one brother and five sisters are left to mourn his death, and in their bereavement they have the sympathy of many sorrowing friends,
