Myser, John W The graveside service for
John W Myser, 96, a resident of the Hillscrest
Apartments in Emporia,
will be at 11 a.m. Thursday,
May 20, 2004, in Matfield
Green Cemetery. The Rev.
Peter Rupprecht of St.
Mark Lutheran Church
will conduct the ceremony.

Mr. Myser died
Thursday, May 13, 2004, at
Newman Regional Health.
He was a jeweler and
watch repairman. He
owned and operated a jewelry and watch repair shop
in Wichita from 1947 until
1973 when he retired. He
moved from Wichita to
Emporia in 1992.
The son of Joseph Woy
and Louise O'Daniel Myser,
he was born Oct. 17, 1907,
at Toledo in Chase County.
He married Neva North on
Dec. 13, 1939. She died Oct.
11, 1991.
Mr. Myser was a member of the First United
Methodist Church in
Wichita.
He is survived by four
nieces and nephews, Bob
Edmiston of Emporia,
Dean Edmiston of
Cottonwood Falls, Anita
Myser Cooper and Lila
Myser, both of Denison,
Texas. A brother, Paul
Barrick, and a sister, Lavon
Myser Edmiston, died earlier.
