Nelson, Leida M Rich Fisher Leida M. Fisher Nelson, 84, of Strong City, died Nov. 12, 2004, at Holiday Resort, Emporia.
Leida, the daughter of Albert A. Rich and Ila Webb, was born July 26, 1920, at Mulvane. She married Bill Fisher on August 24, 1950, in Oklahoma, he died in 1965.
She then married Harvey Nelson on July 7, 1973, at Cottonwood Falls, he died
in 2002.
She was a homemaker and CNA, retiring in 1985.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Fisher of Burns and Bill Fisher of Strong City; a daughter, Idell Hinz of Newton; a sister, Maudene Speake of Arieta, Calif.; eight grand-children; and six great-grandchildren.
One son Wayne Fisher and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
The funeral service was Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Whitewater Center Church, rural Burns, with Pastor Charles Fisher officiating.
Memorials may be made to Hand in Hand Home Care & Hospice and the Salvation Army.
