Nordeen, Irene G Miller

Irene G Nordeen, 95, passed away Sept. 16, 2001 at Cedar Park Adult Family Home, Bothell, Wash. Memorial services were held Sept. 20, at Bleitz Funeral Chapel in Seattle, Wash., and burial was at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue, Wash.

Irene was born at home to George and Pearle Evans Miller, rural Cottonwood Falls on Sept. 25, 1905. She attended Chase County High School and Kansas State University. She was a member of Chi Omega, the PEO Sisterhood, United Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Ron and Miller, and a daughter-in-law, Lu Nordeen.

Survivors are her husband, Loren, "Bub" Nordeen, of 76 years; her sister, Peggy Stephenson; daughter-in-law, Rosalie Nordeen; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
