Phillips, Warren Lee
Warren Lee Phillips, 69, of Clinton, Mo. died June 19, 2004, at his home. Funeral services were Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery
Warren Lee Phillips was born March 12, 1935, to Walter W. and Mildred Phillips in Admire. He grew up in Chase County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from Emporia State College with a degree in economics. He
moved to the Kansas City area in 1961 and worked for Montgomery Ward as the fleet manager and TG&Y as the fleet and warehouse general manager. He retired from J&R Hauling in 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Henshaw Phillips; three daughters, Debbie Hackett, Shelly Barnett and Julie Seidler; two stepsons Jackie and Stacy Hurst; his mother; a brother, Gary Phillips; two sisters Sharon Dupuis and
Sonda Bruce; and five grandchildren.
Warren was preceded in death by his father, Walter Phillips.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Twin Lakes Hospice, 725 E. Ohio St., Clinton, MO 64735 or to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home, 3300 Shawnee Dr., Kansas City, KS 66106.
