Pracht, Ola E Ola E. Pracht, 86, formerly of Cedar Point, died at Chase County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cottonwood Falls, ;Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004.
Ola E. Pracht was born July 21, 1918, to Joseph L. and Margaret A. Zickefoose Byram in Cedar Point. She married Fred Pracht on March 17, 1937, in Wichita. He died Aug. 20, 2002.
They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary before his death. She was a homemaker and was a Farmer/rancher with her husband in the Cedar Point community most of her life.
She and Fred lived on their farm until 1998 when they moved to Cottonwood Falls. She was a member of the Cedar Point Community Church and active in many Cedar Point community projects.
She is survived by a sister, Esther Whibley of Laurel, Md; and a brother, Arch Byram of Emporia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Ruth and Twila Byram and Lila Windier; two brothers, L.W. and Ben Byram.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m., in the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. Eldon Cox of Cedar Point Community Church officiated. Interment followed in Cedar Point Cemetery, Cedar Point.
