Price, Isabell Love "Isse"

Isabell "Isse" Price, 87, of Lebo died March 28,2002, at her daughter's home in Liberty, Mo. Mrs. Price was a bookkeeper at Matson Plumbing in Emporia for several years, was an accountant for the Emporia Music Company and worked at the Hallmark Card company in Emporia. She also worked at the Lebo school cafeteria and from 1931 to 1933 she taught at a rural grade school near Hartford.

Isabell Love, the daughter of Roy and Alice Cora Pearson Love, was born May 1, 1914, at Hartford. She graduated from Neosho Rapids High School in 1931. She married Bernard "Harley" Edwards on May 11, 1933 at Cottonwood Falls. He died Nov. 29,1984. She married Bob Price on Feb. 14, 1996, at Liberty, Mo. Mrs Price was a member of the Lebo United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Bluestem Swingers Square Dance Club and the VFW Auxiliary, both in Emporia; American Legion Post 323 Auxiliary in Lebo; and the Jerry Story Square Dance Club of McAllen, Texas. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Vonda Lee Willer of Liberty, Mo.; a son, Gary Edwards of Nowata, Okla.; a sister, Iola Combes of Lebo; two brothers, Levern Love of Lebo and Orville Love of Bloomington, Ill.; six grandchildren; and five great-grand-children. The funeral was April 1, 2002, in Lebo United Methodist Church. Burial was in Lincoln Cemetery at Lebo. Memorial contributions to the Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University can be sent to the funeral home, P O Box 43, Lebo, Ks, 66856.
