Rice, Ruth Maxine
Ruth Maxine Rice, 87, Topeka, died July 6, 2006.
Ruth, the daughter of Harry and Mary Hager Hudson, was born Dec. 1, 1918, at Cottonwood Falls. She graduated from Cottonwood Falls High School and married Joe H. Rice on May 7, 1938.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Rice, Topeka and Eric Rice, Lawrence; a daughter, Susan Mignacca, Auburn; three sisters, Roberta Allen, Cottonwood Falls, Ruby Reynolds, Houston, Texas and Marion Stone, Olathe; four grand-children; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, one son, three sisters and one brother.
The funeral service was Saturday, July 8, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka. Graveside service was in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cottonwood Falls.
